Chunrong Lai commented on HARMONY-4763:
---------------------------------------

I tested above test in a standard-build Fedora.
<1> It seems that Harmony has no problem for the characters if the system is configured
well (except the Korean, but it because my system is not configured well).
           Instead RI has some problems.
<2> The test is somehow strange/strong since it uses hard-coded encoding. (zh_CN.GB2312
and zh_CN.UTF_8 should introduce different "你好世界").

> Current Harmony snapshots do not include default font.properties files. This prevents
some localized Java applications from working correctly since non-Latin characters in Swing/AWT
menus, labels and other UI elements aren't displayed. Moreover, we even don't have the font.properties
file format description anywhere in our docs.
