Vladimir Beliaev commented on HARMONY-4890:
-------------------------------------------

Hello, Ji, it means the bugs is reproducible on SLES10 only. Could you try SLES10 please?

Also the bug is reported against release version of Harmony (this also may be important).

So, please include the output from "EUT installation" to each of your comments. I.e. the output
from the script like:

  export JAVA_HOME=<path-to-release-harmony-build>
  export PATH=${JAVA_HOME}/bin:${PATH}
  java -version
  mkdir new_try
  cd new_try
  cp <eclipse-Automated-Tests-3.3.zip> .
  cp <eclipse-SDK-3.3-linux-gtk-x86_64.tar.tar> .
  unzip -q eclipse-Automated-Tests-3.3.zip
  cd eclipse-testing
  unzip -q eclipse-junit-tests-I20070625-1500.zip
  tar xzf ../eclipse-SDK-3.3-linux-gtk-x86_64.tar.tar
  ulimit -n 1024
  ulimit -a

Thanks
Vladimir

> I'm enabling EUT3.3 on Linux x86_64 (SLES10).
> A bit set of suites crashed with the following dump:
> [java] SIGSEGV in VM code.
> [java] Stack trace:
> [java] 0: gc_gen_adapt(GC_Gen*, long long) (??:-1)
> [java] 1: ?? (??:-1)
> [java] 2: ?? (??:-1)
> [java] 3: apr_atomic_casptr (atomic/unix/apr_atomic.c:376)
> <skipped...>
> which allows to guess it is GC GEN issue to be fixed.
> The issue is reproduced on the machine with the 1024 limitation of open files. I.e. to
reproduce the crash you need to do this limitation with the command:
> ulimit -n 1024
> Could someone take a look, please?
> Thanks
