Yes, freeMemory which you mean does be a perf hot spot, because most GCs might happen in this
method. This heap exhaustion test resutls in nearly 600 times of GC.

After all, I think this is not a perf problem any more given the same Xmx of DRLVM and RI.
How do you think, Alexei? If you agree, I suggest this issue to be closed.
