Ivan Volosyuk commented on HARMONY-2972:
----------------------------------------

Are you still using GCv41? This diagnostics is just limitation of the GC when working in compressed
references mode on 64bit platform. In order to get rid of the limitation entirely need to
change compaction algorithm on a different one. As Xiao Feng found out in his paper this is
not the best algorithm to have.

> The test is excluded from the "build test" runs on linux em64t JIT mode because it fails
as follows:
> 1
> 2
> ....
> 286647
> 286648
> not enough reserved space for roots
> log4cxx: No appender could be found for logger (port.old).
> log4cxx: Please initialize the log4cxx system properly.
> Segmentation fault
> The test is very simple and just nvokes a method recursively and normally should get
StackOverflowError. The printed values are iteration numbers.
> The test is also excluded on this platform for the interpreter mode for some reason but
it passes for me.
