Vasily Zakharov commented on HARMONY-4831:

I suppose that to fix this issue we should have the source structure of working_jdktools/modules/samsa/src/main/native/samsa
changed to something similar to the one in working_classlib/modules/luni/src/main/native/launcher.

> Key: HARMONY-4831
> URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/HARMONY-4831
> Project: Harmony
> Issue Type: Bug
> Components: JDK
> Reporter: Vasily Zakharov
> Assignee: Alexey Petrenko
> Priority: Critical
> Patch to HARMONY-4420 introduced new jdk/bin/javaw.exe file, that is identical to jdk/bin/java.exe
> However, javaw.exe must not be a copy of console application java.exe, it must be a windows
application, much like jdk/jre/bin/javaw.exe, which is much different from jdk/jre/bin/java.exe.
Console applications handle streams differently than windows ones, and these sometimes causes
errors when trying to redirect the streams.
> This issue is a blocker for HARMONY-4789.
