I looked at these tests and it seems to me that they have a very low quality.

In particular they rely on stuff that isn't guaranteed to be present, e.g.

1. There is a hardcoded path C:\Documents and Settings
2. On Windows they require Cygwin
3. On Linux they try to find java executable using "find" command, which may return /usr/lib/java
(a directory) instead of a java executable which breaks tests again.
4. They rely on some utilities like tree that aren't present in all distributions.

I don't see a value to enable them and suggest to close this bug as won't fix.
