Dmitry Pronichkin updated HARMONY-3584:
---------------------------------------

    Attachment: intrinsic_patch.patch

This is a patch converting intrinsic calls to JitHelper calls. The patch was made to refactor
code. But there is an obvious disparity between the old code and the new code: in escape analysis,
in static profiler and in the edge profiler. I have uncomplete understanding of that places
but I think they are not critical considering vm crashes. So primarily I would like to know
if there are some other unobvious mistakes.

PS As I said before the patched vm often crashes so there are mistakes surely.

> the feature (arraycopy call replacement) can be done in the guarded manner. When the
classes of the arrays are being checked at runtime.
> (It is not obvious if it gives a performance effect or not).
> when this approach (guarded arraycopy call "inlining") is being implemented this optimisation
should be moved out from the translator and inserted (before inliner) into the HLO path as
a separate optimisation.
