Tim Ellison updated HARMONY-1568:
---------------------------------

    Assignee: Tim Ellison

Thanks Sian.

Were you working with an old version of the code? The patch doesn't apply cleanly, and it
seems that this issue may have been fixed.

However, the fix in the repository now, and your fix are slightly different (i.e. the behavior
of getExceptionListener(), it will return null in the current version, but your patch would
return the defaultException listener). What does the RI do?

> The spec says for the constructor XMLDecoder(InputStream in, Object owner, ExceptionListener
exceptionListener):
> "exceptionListener - the exception handler for the stream; if null the default exception
listener will be used"
> The RI use default listener while harmony 'null'.
