Elena Sayapina commented on HARMONY-4437:
-----------------------------------------

I believe -Dhttp.proxyHost=<proxyPort> -Dhttp.proxyPort=<Port> can be also passed
to jre using for the tests running through test harness generalVMOption property.

> The following 3 functional tests should be run using a proxy on machines without direct
internet connection:
> org/apache/harmony/test/func/networking/java/net/URL/GetContent01/getContent01
> org/apache/harmony/test/func/networking/java/net/URL/GetContent02/getContent02
> org/apache/harmony/test/func/networking/java/net/URL/OpenStream01/openStream01
> In case of absence direct internet connection tests throw unexpected MalformedURLException
on Harmony and RI: Connection timed out
> Tests can be fixed by adding jre options for the tests running to its configuration xml
files:
> <Option name="-Dhttp.proxyHost=<proxyPort>"/>
> <Option name="-Dhttp.proxyPort=<Port>"/>
> Or passing proxy configuration parameters to the tests and using openConnection(Proxy
proxy) inside the tests.
