Subject [jira] Commented: (HARMONY-4168) [buildtest][harness] .svn directories are not excluded when scanning descriptors

Pavel Pervov commented on HARMONY-4168:

>> I suggest updating 'Selector' class to exclude inappropriate files.

> I believe that from performance point of view directories are better to be excluded on
TestFinder level by passing a list of directories to skip, but this doesn't matter much.

All folders starting with '.' (dot) are considered hidden on Linix. I would suggest following
this convention in Selector and skip 'hidden' folders traversal, if it is possible technically.
Your thoughts?

> The test run reports the following:
> [java] TestHarness:StoreRes add(): Test was run
> stress/org/apache/harmony/test/stress/classloader/NotSynchThreads/WrongClasses/.svn/text-base/testWCLoad1
> I've fixed the test finder to avoid selecting files of the form *.xml.*.
