However, I've seen it in the alerts@harmony log - the last hang occured at January 29 (J9 on linux). The fix suggests to run all test methods from the event-dispatching thread that IMHO generally is the right thing to do. For example the same thing is recommended in [1]. In spite of the fact that I don't see any Swing component being "realized" in the JTreeTest's code IMHO it is still ok to apply this fix since it reduces the probability of hang at least theoretically.
