Subject [jira] Commented: (HARMONY-2860) [classlib][nio] Intermittent fails of DatagramChannelTest and SelectionKeyTest

Mikhail Markov commented on HARMONY-2860:

Alexei, I've figured out why the tests failed on Linux. The following code:
  DatagramSocket ds = new DatagramSocket();
  ds = new DatagramSocket();
will open both datagram sockets on the same ports on Linux, but on Windows it opens datagram
sockets on different ports.
As the tests call Support_PortManager.getNextPort() method, which is in my patch opens and
closes DatagramSocket-s, 2 consecutive calls to this method will produce the same port numbers.
I'll post the updated patch soon.

> This looks like an issue different from HARMONY-2285, so I've decided to create a separate
entry for it.
> This issue looks like a duplicate of HARMONY-2338, so it should be checked when that
one gets fixed.
