Anton Luht commented on HARMONY-1671:
-------------------------------------

Richard,

Regarding your question N 2 from comment made on 01/Feb/07 01:47 AM : I use Linux :

~> java -showversion -cp '"."' Test
java version "1.4.2"
Java(TM) 2 Runtime Environment, Standard Edition (build 1.4.2)
Classic VM (build 1.4.2, J2RE 1.4.2 IBM build cxia321420-20040626 (JIT enabled:
jitc))

The java class is not found: Test

---
I've tried to verify the bug and build and run the test on RI but unfortunately my sandbox
is rather outdated and I came across some building problems - maybe someone who has a working
environment (Alexey?) will verify it?

Thanks,
Anton.

> These are tests for -jar ... style Java execution. They contain regression tests for
bug 1562 + various execution options:
> - CLASSPATH environment variable
> - -cp
> - -jar
> - Class-Path entry
> - Main-Class missing in jar (but found in jar referenced by Class-Path entry)
> - mix of .zip and .jar files in classpath
> All tests are positive - for the situations where class should be found (in other words,
no negative - for 'class not found' tests)
> This patch also contains changes to Support_Exec class to support envp variable
> *.ser files attached should be put to <classlib root>\support\src\test\java\tests\resources
