Some more comments to the patch. 

If I remove Thread.sleep(2000) at all, the test definitely fails so we need some sleeping
here. Obviously uncoditioned sleep for 2000 ms is not a good style of programming. The test
may fail on a hard loaded machine and this probably happened on the CC machine. So my decision
was to do smart sleep in the test.
