I tried to run stress.Stack to see what value minDepth should be set to with this fix.

I ran the test on Windows 2003 (msvc/icl debug/release), Linux SUSE9 ia32 (gcc/icc debug/release)
and Linux SUSE9 em64t (gcc debug/release). The minimal number of iterations was 260 for Windows
icl release build.
We cannot return the previous value of 300 to the test but can increase the current value
from 130 to at least 250.
