Subject [jira] Commented: (HARMONY-2919) [drlvm][kernel tests] Two tests updated to shorten inner classes names
Date Fri, 29 Dec 2006 13:00:22 GMT

Elena Semukhina commented on HARMONY-2919:
------------------------------------------

I just observe these tests failures in my environment when I placed drlvm/trunk too far from
the disk root.
These tests are compiled well with javac but fail in compilation with Eclipse compiler because
it obviously has some restrictions on inner classes names length.

I don't see any harm to make the tests a little bit simplier to ensure that they normally
pass.

> Two kernel tests, ClassAnnotationTest and ClassHierarchyTest use too long inner classes
names and this cause generating wrong class names by Eclipse compiler. It simply strips too
long class names. If drlvm/trunk resides too far from the disk root, this could lead to compiler
errors.
> I shortened the names of inner classes.
