Subject [jira] Updated: (HARMONY-1945) [drlvm][test] The "fake" circularity errors
Date Wed, 06 Dec 2006 06:44:23 GMT

Vera Petrashkova updated HARMONY-1945:

    Attachment: test1.zip

VM returns incorrect stack trace information when we an instance of some non-existent class
was created and some method from this class was invoked.
This information is the same in both cases including line numbers:
- on creating new object
- on method invocation
To reproduce this run attached test1 class from test1.zip.
(it is needed to compile test1.java and remove test1_1.class).

> Project: Harmony
> Issue Type: Test
> Components: DRLVM

> Priority: Minor
> Attachments: CLTest.java, SMTest.java, test1.zip
> There are two "impossible" tests, which shows "fake" circularity errors. One test is
more simple and use SecurityManager. The other is a bit more complex and uses custom ClassLoader.
You can find them in attachment.
