Subject [jira] Commented: (HARMONY-1600) [drlvm][testing] need a switch to turn off the run on kernel tests over the default system java
Date Wed, 08 Nov 2006 15:28:53 GMT

Vladimir Ivanov commented on HARMONY-1600:
------------------------------------------

The second patch implements the 'classlib-like' ideology when the tested runtime is defined
by command line option.
By default, tests run over DRLVM only. If we need to run these tests on the other runtime
it should be defined through the -Dbuild.deploy.dir=<other.runtime> option.
For me the second patch is more preferable.

> need a switch to turn off the run on kernel tests over the default system java. Now,
when these tests failed on the Harmony the build forced to run it over system default java
and no way to forbid this.
> Note, together with the issue 1599 it gives funny case when all tests crashed.
