Tony, the second patch is applied at revision r with minor changes, I tidied it up to remove
compiler warnings, and replaced the "if (obj != null && obj instanceof xxx)" with
"if(obj instanceof xxx)", because the instanceof always false for null. Thank you for this
enhancement, please verify the issue fully resolved as you expected.
