Subject [jira] Commented: (HARMONY-1847) [drlvm] -verbose option does nothing
Date Fri, 24 Nov 2006 23:24:05 GMT

Gregory Shimansky commented on HARMONY-1847:
--------------------------------------------

I feel too lazy to revert the patch and downgrade the log4cxx, to find out that the crash
happens without the patch as well. Frankly I didn't check tracing on 64 bits before I applied
this patch. Probably I was the first to use classloader tracing category on the new architecture.

So I'll try to find the crash cause. If I don't find the reason, I'll create a JIRA.

> java -verbose does not print any information
> To debug an application it is very helpfull to know which classes and in which order
they are loaded.
> Something like what RI gives would be enough.

> Xtrace:classloader contains the information but it is too verbose.
