Subject [jira] Commented: (HARMONY-1994) [classlib][pack200] Can now write constant fields in interfaces :-)
Date Mon, 30 Oct 2006 22:14:40 GMT

Alex Blewitt commented on HARMONY-1994:
---------------------------------------

I'm just generating them from Subclipse, in the same way that I was doing before. I'm not
sure how else to generate the patches; after all, it's not made any difference in the previous
times :-(

The patches were located at /Users/alex/Documents/Harmony/Workspace/Pack200/ though, so you
could always search-and-replace that string to the empty string, so that changes are from
the project root e.g.

/Users/alex/Documents/Harmony/Workspace/Pack200/src/test/java/org/apache/harmony/archive/tests/internal/pack200/AllTests.java
->
src/test/java/org/apache/harmony/archive/tests/internal/pack200/AllTests.java

Would that make it easier to apply?

Alex.

> Continued work on pack200 code. Refactored all inner classes (ConstantPoolEntry/ClassFileEntry)
into separate bytecode package, wrote some tests (not fully complete). Updated segment parsing
to build that, and we can now reconstitute interfaces that have integer hard-coded constants
stored, as well as fields.
