Subject [jira] Updated: (HARMONY-1865) [classlib][swing] Non-topmost JInternalFrame is painted incorrectly after movement
Date Tue, 17 Oct 2006 14:56:38 GMT

Dmitry A. Durnev updated HARMONY-1865:
--------------------------------------

    Attachment: H1865-fix.patch

Issue is caused by incompletely implemented method java.awt.Component.getObscuredRegion().
It is used to turn off "blit support" in JInternalFrame(while moving) if JInternalFrame's
display area is obscured by some other component. Attached fix touches both awt & swing
modules, it fixes both o.a.h.x.swing.BlitSupport class & java.awt.Component.getObscuredRegion().
This patch also fixes trivial issue in java.awt.Toolkit constructor(wrong thread passed to
synchronizer), which seems to not affect anything...

> If non-topmost JInternalFrame is moved under some other component it's painted incorrectly:
it appears above other components & contains garbage inside. See attached test & screenshot.
