Subject [jira] Commented: (HARMONY-1826) [drlvm][jvmti] Fix JVMTI support

Gregory Shimansky commented on HARMONY-1826:

I've found the reason of this problem. The infinite SIGSEGV happens because get_stack_addr
cannot get TLS pointer to vm_thread structure. It is necessary to get JNI env. This JNI environment
is used in JVMTI process_jvmti_event which is called to signal JVMTI that thread finished.
The call is done in invocation API DetachCurrentThread.

The fix is trivial, DetachCurrentThread should call jvmti_send_thread_start_end_even *before*
calling jthread_detach. The TLS data will be ok in this condition. After jthread_detach TLS
data is absent so nothing can be found, that's the reason for the crash.
