I am OK with committing this patch provided the use of tmn_suspend_enable/tmn_suspend_disable()
*inside* of a JNI function is commented.  Officially, a JNI function is not allowed to reach
inside objects.  (However, its very convienent in JVM programming to do what this patch does
-- I don't have a problem with it.)
