Subject [jira] Updated: (HARMONY-1502) [classlib][security] Support more Certificate/CRL extensions by X.509 framework.
Date Wed, 20 Sep 2006 10:22:23 GMT

Alexander Kleymenov updated HARMONY-1502:
-----------------------------------------

    Attachment: patch-support-more-extns.txt

Provided patch implements additional most essential extensions:
    1) Inhibit Any-Policy
    2) Subject Key Identifier
    3) Subject Alternative Name
    4) Issuer Alternative Name
    5) Issuing Distribution Point
    6) Authority Key Identifier
    7) CRL Distribution Points.
By using of these implementations it is possible to retrieve more information from the Certificates
and/or CRLs. Note - this patch makes some code reorganizations. Earlier the classes describing
extensions have been implemented as internal classes of the Extension class. Now they are
placed in x509 package on the same level as Extension class.

> 2) Basic Constraints
> 3) Certificate Policies
> 4) Policy Constraints
> 5) Extended Key Usage
> 6) Reason Code
> 7) Certificate Issuer
> 8) Invalidity Date.
