[classlib][text] unexpected StringIndexOutOfBoundsException for java.text.NumberFormat.parseObject(String
source, ParsePosition pos < 0)
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

                 Key: HARMONY-1003
                 URL: http://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/HARMONY-1003
             Project: Harmony
          Issue Type: Bug
          Components: Classlib
            Reporter: Vladimir Ivanov

The spec says for java.text.NumberFormat.parseObject(String source, ParsePosition pos ): "
In case of error, returns null."
The harmony throws StringIndexOutOfBoundsException for negative position while RI returns
null.
