Attached is an automated Eclipse scenario that :

It is based on the code provided by Salikh Zakirov : http://mail-archives.apache.org/mod_mbox/incubator-harmony-dev/200606.mbox/%3c44A12E65.6020607@Intel.com%3e

To run the test, unzip the contents of the attached file into <eclipse 3.1.1 home>/eclipse/plugins
directory and run the following command

<vm name> -cp <eclipse 3.1.1 home>/eclipse/startup.jar org.eclipse.core.launcher.Main
-application org.eclipse.test.uitestapplication -dev bin -testpluginname HelloAuto -classname

this command will be run in your usual Eclipse workspace. To run it in a temporary workspace,

-data <path to tmp dir>

To see XML output of the test, please use

<vm name> -cp <eclipse 3.1.1 home>/eclipse/startup.jar org.eclipse.core.launcher.Main
-application org.eclipse.test.uitestapplication formatter=org.apache.tools.ant.taskdefs.optional.junit.XMLJUnitResultFormatter
