As the title says really.  If you try something like "Hello".replaceAll("lo", "p"); you get
a NullPointerException.  Stack trace included:

java.lang.NullPointerException
	at java.lang.String.replaceAll(String.java:1711)
	at tests.api.java.lang.StringTest.test_replaceAll(StringTest.java:659)
	....
