Subject [jira] [Created] (HAMA-758) Send message to non-exist vertex makes the job fail.
Date Mon, 13 May 2013 06:47:15 GMT
MaoYuan Xian created HAMA-758:
---------------------------------

Summary: Send message to non-exist vertex makes the job fail.
                 Key: HAMA-758
                 URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/HAMA-758
             Project: Hama
          Issue Type: Wish
          Components: graph
    Affects Versions: 0.6.1
            Reporter: MaoYuan Xian
            Priority: Minor

In graph computing, when sends message to non-exist vertex, job will fail. The problem triggered
from iterate method of org.apache.hama.graph.GraphJobCounter.
Un-completed graph input exists in the real world. Should we ignore these messages sent to
non-exist vertext? Or, should we add the mechanism, adds the additional vertex when Vertex.addEdge
called?
