From: "Edward J. Yoon" To: dev@hama.apache.org, announce@apache.org, general@hadoop.apache.org Content-Type: text/plain; charset=UTF-8 X-Gm-Message-State: ALoCoQmay4YkjqwJIev6mj+SRX3xDa6lCV3rxPBLwKs45IpPKimcpURA3Q7Zgwl/uvZSeEBxmLe0 The Hama team is pleased to announce the Hama 0.6.1 release. Apache Hama is a pure BSP (Bulk Synchronous Parallel) computing framework on top of HDFS (Hadoop Distributed File System) for massive scientific computations such as matrix, graph and network algorithms. This release still supports every data format from simple Text and up to SequenceFile for input of Graph job, and provides more stable internal input partitioning system for obtaining scalability of a Bulk Synchronous Parallel processing and determining how to distribute the slices of input data among BSP processors. The artifacts are published and ready for you to download[1] either from the Apache mirrors or from the Maven repository. We welcome your help, feedback, and suggestions. For more information on how to report problems, and to get involved, visit the project website[2] and wiki[3].
