Date Tue, 09 Apr 2013 22:35:06 GMT
Hama Committers,

Apache Software Foundation (ASF) has been accepted has a mentoring
organization for the 2013 Google Summer of Code.

If you wish to be a mentor for a GSoC student to work on a Hama projects,

1. Read - http://community.apache.org/guide-to-being-a-mentor.html
2. Add your idea to JIRA, using the label 'gsoc2013'.
3. Subscribe the code-awards@apache.org list, and send mentor request email.
4. Follow the emails from Ulrich Stärk.

PMCs,

I'm receiving a lot of moderation requests for code-awards@apache.org
meaning that potential mentors
are not subscribed to that list.

I want to remind you that subscription to that list is highly
recommended for mentors because that's
were we'll discuss organizational things such as deadlines, ranking
process, etc. See my original
GSoC 2013 announcement mail and [1].

Uli
