Although independent query language is really good but 
Using pig looks more fascinate.
I agree that your opinion.
It seems that shell is enough itself to provide admin tool w/o query language.

Roughly, I think we can add some stuff to PIG using Hama, such as a
extended (graph/algebraic) query language.

So, I'm not sure we should provides a query language --

with me, I would propose that Shell should be a simple admin tool w/o
query language.
