Looking at the code base feels like a pretty dumb wrapper on top of
standard ZK.  For instance:

  public boolean exists(String path, boolean watch) throws
KeeperException, InterruptedException {
        return _zk.exists(path, watch) != null;
  }

So I'm curious about why, in the context of the questioning made, you
feel like it's significant.
