Hey, I applied this to a small cluster and this seems to have fixed the issue I was hitting
earlier. However, the patch seems to initialize the pipeline even when it is already initialized
for the given user. Granted that duplicate pipelines are not put into the map, their creation
still seems to flood the logs upon every application request and also add the potentially
expensive overhead of creating a pipeline every time.
