Subject [jira] [Commented] (YARN-6095) create a REST API that returns the clusters for a given app id
Date Tue, 17 Jan 2017 20:07:27 GMT

Rohith Sharma K S commented on YARN-6095:

bq. In either case, that should be a separate jira from this one imho,
Exactly!! These are 2 separate REST endpoints.
* Give an appId, return list of clusterId's.
* */clusterids* returns list of clusterIds. I was giving use case for the necessity of new
REST API */clusterids* that return list of clusterId's from back-end. I will create new JIRA
for this discussion.

May be REST API could be in */clusterids* and */clusterids/$appId* for both new endpoints.

> Project: Hadoop YARN
> Issue Type: Sub-task
> Components: timelineserver

> It would be good to have a timeline service REST endpoint that can return the list of
clusters for a given app id. This becomes possible after YARN-5378 is in.
