[~sandflee] - the behaviour to ignore vcores in DefaultResourceCalculator is by design. If
you wish to take vcores into account with CapacityScheduler, you can change the calculator
in capacity-scheduler.xml by setting yarn.scheduler.capacity.resource-calculator to org.apache.hadoop.yarn.util.resource.DominantResourceCalculator.
