Subject [jira] [Updated] (YARN-4365) FileSystemNodeLabelStore should check for root dir existence on startup
Date Wed, 13 Jan 2016 22:42:40 GMT

     [ https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/YARN-4365?page=com.atlassian.jira.plugin.system.issuetabpanels:all-tabpanel
]

Vinod Kumar Vavilapalli updated YARN-4365:
------------------------------------------
    Fix Version/s:     (was: 2.7.3)
                   2.7.2

Pulled this into 2.7.2 to keep the release up-to-date with 2.6.3. Changing fix-versions to
reflect the same.

> If the namenode is in safe mode for some reason then FileSystemNodeLabelStore will prevent
the RM from starting since it unconditionally tries to create the root directory for the label
store. If the root directory already exists and no labels are changing then we shouldn't
prevent the RM from starting even if the namenode is in safe mode.
