Subject [jira] [Commented] (YARN-4516) [YARN-3368] Use em-table to better render tables
Date Wed, 30 Dec 2015 01:42:49 GMT

Li Lu commented on YARN-4516:

OK I've updated my local em-table. [~Sreenath] one more (probably silly) question: how do
we access the models in an em-table controller? I tried {{this.get}} within {{createData}}
and the controller itself, but JS complains that {{this}} is undefined in this scope. I also
tried to feed a computed property to em-table, but seems like em-table does not support it.
So, what is the general practice in Tez to feed models to the table content? Updating the
example dummy apps would be quite helpful. Thanks!

> Currently we're using DataTables, it isn't integrated to Ember.js very well.
> Instead we can use em-table (see https://github.com/sreenaths/em-table/wiki, which is
created for Tez UI). It supports features such as selectable columns, pagination, etc.
