Yes and no. Instead of the side-by-side generic history data and the per-framework data, I
wish the document can convey the information what the timeline server is, what the basic service
it provides. This service can be used to record either the generic or the application-specific
information. Inside the timeline server, on top of the basic timeline service, we have made
a built-in generic history service. You can consider it as one use case of the timeline service.
Does it make sense?

Yes. I think you have already removed the unnecessary configs.
