Tsuyoshi OZAWA commented on YARN-659:
-------------------------------------

[~bikassaha], correct me if I'm wrong. IIUC, ZooKeeper.delete API throws KeeperException.NotEmpty
exception if the znode has children nodes. Therefore, we need to delete all children nodes
at first.

http://zookeeper.apache.org/doc/r3.4.1/api/org/apache/zookeeper/ZooKeeper.html#delete(java.lang.String,
int)

I thought we should check version numbers to ensure that we don't have any updates against
attempt ids node. However, there are no update ops against attempts' znodes. Therefore we
don't need to check the version numbers, right?

> There is no need to give in the whole state for removal - just an ID should be enough
when an app finishes.
