Junping Du commented on YARN-921:

Great thanks for your input, [~bikassaha]! I just send out email thread to yarn-dev and call
for comments. Hope more good ideas are coming soon.
Two additional questions:
- Are target yarn protocol objects mostly in org.apache.hadoop.yarn.api.records package (not
including enum). Do I miss something else?
- Can we add a abstract class to implement cloneable api and make every target object to extends
this abstract class or we have to implement cloneable api on each object.

> Key: YARN-921
> URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/YARN-921
> Project: Hadoop YARN
> Issue Type: Sub-task
> Affects Versions: 2.1.0-beta

> Whenever we create a new object from an existing object, a clone method could be used
to create a copy efficiently vs. new object followed by setters.
