Hi Omkar! Thanks for your quick review. We are facing this problem in production (specially because YARN-91 is still open), so we want this information all the time (rather than just debug)
This patch will make it so that the local path is printed only when it exists (which is really just when newState is LOCALIZED). I was thinking maybe just put the entire toString() in that log, but decided against it.
Please let me know if you still feel strongly about making it only a debug statement / as a separate LOG statement during the transition.
