While the idea is good, the cur= rent implementation will fail for most containers as they are leveraging a = launch script whose output will be redirected to a file. The=C2=A0{{--tail}= }=C2=A0option throws an error if no log output is available for the contain= er, resulting in the docker logs command returning rc=3D1 in most cases. I propose we remove this code from container-executor. Alternative approach= es to handle logging can be explored as part of supporting an image's entry= point. -- This message was sent by Atlassian JIRA (v7.6.3#76005) --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: yarn-dev-unsubscribe@hadoop.apache.org For additional commands, e-mail: yarn-dev-help@hadoop.apache.org
