Subject Re: Versioninfo and platformName issue.

PATH variable is correct. When everyone has mentioned that this is the 
CLASSPATH issue i couldn't locate what exactly is the issue with CLASSPATH.

here is what i have set up in my .profile file

export CLASSPATH=$CLASSPATH:/usr/lib/hadoop/hadoop-common-2.0.0-cdh4.4.0.jar
