I agree frameworks will not be performant. I think there usefulness depends on what we want
to achieve? If we want to support many different languages, then they might prove useful,
if we are only interested in supporting a language or two (seems Python and Ruby are most
popular ones) then it won't make sense to pay the overhead associated with them.
