flatten logic assumes that anything to be flattened is a bag, when it could be a tuple.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

                 Key: PIG-307
                 URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/PIG-307
             Project: Pig
          Issue Type: Bug
          Components: impl
    Affects Versions: types_branch
            Reporter: Alan Gates
             Fix For: types_branch

Queries such as:

{code}
a = load 'myfile' using PigStorage() as (name, age, gpa);

b = filter a by name lt 'b';

c = foreach b generate TOKENIZE(name);

d = foreach c generate flatten($0);

store d into 'outfile';
{code}

fail because the flatten statement in d = foreach ... assumes $0 is a bag.
