I want to use snappy to import data from sqoop is this the best way to do.


sqoop import --connect jdbc:as400://DEV400.mmc.com<http://DEV400.mmc.com>

--username kkms

--P --driver com.ibm.as400.access.AS400JDBCDriver

--table INATSTDTA.INWCTLP

--as-avrodatafile

--split-by WCWHS5

--target-dir /user/kkms/avro_INWCTLP

--table WAREHOUSE_CONTROL

--compression-codec snappy
