Subject RE: Changing tab delimiter between key and value
Date Tue, 21 Aug 2012 16:41:18 GMT

Hi Bejoy,

I tried using conf.set ("*mapred.textoutputformat.separator*","::") , but it didnt work. It
still prints the default tab.
Also I tried using it from cli, -D *mapred.textoutputformat.separator="::" -- even this didnt
work.
In job.xml it showed proper "::" value though. Can you help me on this ?
What could be the issue ?

Cheers !!!

Hi Siddharth
If you are using the default TextOutputFormat , you can specify your separator between key
and value usingmapred.textoutputformat.separator property.
