Subject RE: Changing tab delimiter between key and value
Date Tue, 21 Aug 2012 16:43:41 GMT

Hi ,

I tried using conf.set ("*mapred.textoutputformat.separator*","::") , but it didnt work. It
still prints the default tab.

Also I tried using it from cli, -D *mapred.textoutputformat.separator="::" -- even this didnt
work.

In job.xml it showed proper "::" value though. Can you help me on this ?

What could be the issue ?

try to config "mapred.textoutputformat.separator" to your desired value.

Hi,
Can I change the default delimiter of tab in the output of a job to something else ? How to
achieve it ?
