Hi folks, I noticed this JIRA is not present in trunk, though Vinod's comment says:

Committed this to trunk, branch-2, 2.7 and 2.6. Thanks Junping.

Based on the above discussion, I think this was only intended for branch-2 and thus git is
correct, but I would appreciate clarification.
